When hot air hits the cold tent fabric, condensation will form. It is difficult to remove all condensation, but there are some measures you can take to avoid as much condensation as possible.
- Ventilate well, use the ventilation hatches and air by opening the tent cloth
- Use footprint, a lot of moisture comes from the ground
- If you are making dinner inside the tent, you should use a lid to avoid a lot of water vapor from the cooking
- As far as possible, avoid bringing snow or other wet clothing into the tent that gives off moisture
If you have is a Camp model it will be able to create more condensation due to the large awning. Ventilate well through the night, and when you have finished cooking for breakfast, close all valves and doors and fire the primus approx. 5 min at full strength in the inner tent! This will create negative pressure and all condensation will disappear; diffuse out through the tent cloths due to the pressure differences.
